Spring is the perfect time to take a trip to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations. It allows travelers to explore a new destination before the annual summer crowds roll in. During spring, there is usually milder weather in many popular travel destinations, less tourists, and better pricing when it comes to flights and lodging since it won’t usually be peak season.

If you love the sight of an endless sea of flowers in bloom, you’re going to fall in love with the tulip season in The Netherlands. In mid April, you’ll see the tulips at their best. Tulip season runs from the end of March until mid May, but the flowers are normally looking the most spectacular halfway through April. More than 7 million flower bulbs bloom in spring at the Keukenhof in Lisse. Pack some gorgeous outfits - maybe some floral-printed tops and solid skirts, or just spring colors and solid-colored dresses to give your background a contrast in those instagram shots!

Every year, Japan boasts an explosion of pink trees everywhere as their famous cherry blossoms come into bloom. The season for Cherry blossoms in Japan is between late March and early May. Because of this, there does tend to be heavier tourism in the country during this time as opposed to other destinations in the world. There are about 1,000 cherry blossom or sakura hotspots in Japan including Maruyama Park, Yoshino, Himeji Castle, Fuji Five Lakes,  Hirosaki Castle, Ueno Park and more. It’s a breathtaking experience, perfect for a photography shoot, so pack some beautiful spring dresses to rock in front of the cherry blossom trees.

If you’re a fan of fantastic views, turquoise ocean waters, amazing food, wineries and hikes, The Greek Isles are a great spring time escape. Once again, summer brings the highest number of tourists to these islands, but if you head there in late spring, you’ll catch great weather for beachside relaxing, hiking and much more while avoiding the peak season summer crowds. The most popular islands to visit are: Santorini - Plenty of boat tours, scenic restaurants and wine tours. Known for it’s signature white and blue aesthetic, the shots here will be breathtaking. You can’t go wrong wearing a gorgeous white dress, skirt or white leggings set and top. Mykonos - nightlife and clubbing are the thing to do here, as well as enjoy the beaches and it’s charming capital village. Crete - This is the largest Greek isle and has tons of historical sites, restaurants, hikes and more. Naxos - another island with wonderful beaches, this is the most family friendly island. Paros - a slightly lesser known isle, Paros is a bit quieter than Santorini and Mykonos. You’ll get the charming village feel bordering the Aegean Sea as well as great restaurants to enjoy. Make sure to pack your swimsuits and resort wear for this trip!

One of the best times to visit Lake Tahoe is during the spring. You’ll get mild, sunny weather in March and April, you can expect temperatures to be between 49-51 degrees Fahrenheit. You can enjoy kayaking and canoeing on the lake, hiking in the mountains, biking, golfing, fishing and more. This is a relaxing outdoors location that will have you feeling reconnected with nature.
