Embrace the end of summer with some fall recipes to celebrate the coziness of Fall with spiced flavors and warm, homey cooking. Here is a fun Fall recipe to start getting your home feeling and tasting like Autumn. Pro tip: Get the family involved! Pumpkin Pancakes (Breakfast)

Ingredients: 

  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder 
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon salt 

Directions

Mix together milk, pumpkin puree, egg, vinegar and oil in a bowl. Combine the brown sugar, flour, baking powder, allspice, cinnamon, ginger and salt in a separate bowl. Stir into the pumpkin mixture enough to combine. 

Lightly oil a griddle or frying pan and heat over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto a griddle with about ¼ cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve.
