Fun Prints for Springs
Are you over the monochromatic palettes and muted hues of the last few months? This is a brand new trend that is quickly becoming a hot look. Watercolor or lava lamp designs are showing up on everything from dresses to tops to prints, hats, coordinated sweats and long sleeve crop tops, and more. This flowy, artsy print is reminiscent of 70’s psychedelic or flower power vibes. It’s an ode to this dreamy, throwback era, but feels so modern and colorful in 2021 for springtime! This print on virtually any clothing item will keep you on-trend.
80’s Florals
Florals are a print that work for any season, depending on the style. They are especially on-trend for Spring. This year, however, the spin on floral is leaning towards a more 1980’s retro feel. That means florals that are busier and brighter. The florals this spring tend to be anything that looks like it could have been found on an 80’s curtain, comforter or wallpaper. Matching sets are still a thing, so if you rock an 80’s floral printed leggings and sports bra matching set, you’ll be SO on!
Screen Prints and Digital Skins
Whether it’s a Van Gogh-style painting or a scene from a movie, printed onto sheer fabrics and worn, screen prints and digital skins are SUPER in right now. They were first seen on the runways sometime around top of last year. They are slowly trickling their way into everyday street wear, being mixed and matched with other prints or solids for forward-thinking interesting looks. Make a statement with a screen printed wolf legging, a stretched out and pixelated peacock print and others in this vibe. Basically, if it feels like you’re wearing a mural in clothing form, you’re doing it right.
Paradise Print
Think palm fronds and birds of paradise, juicy citrus or tropical fruits, or anything that makes you feel like you are sitting on a beach in the caribbean. If it makes you feel like you’re in a cabana somewhere soaking in the sun, you got it right. This trend seems to have a strong connection to that famous green Versace jungle print dress that JLO wore at an award show back in 2000. That same luxe, vacation vibe is back stronger than ever and it isn’t just for resort season. Paradise prints are here to stay through Spring and Summer 2021!

Get really tropical by mixing tropical florals with fun leopard print on a shift dress, a tropical printed one-shoulder bodycon dress for brunch or a pair of leggings for yoga class.
